Section 500.3949 - Life and long-term care benefits; marketing; compliance(1) An insurer that has both life and disability authority in this state may market policies containing both life benefits and long-term care benefits.(2) Except as otherwise provided in this act, if life insurance products contain long-term care benefits, the life insurance benefits in those products shall comply with the requirements of chapters 40 and 44 and the long-term care benefits shall comply with this chapter.Add. 1992, Act 84, Imd.
