§ I. Purpose

The Judicial Conference of Puerto Rico is hereby created to study the state of judicial administration, to promote measures for the improvement of judicial proceedings, to consider and recommend legislation on the adoption of rules of procedure for the courts and, in general, to address matters concerning the judicial system, its improvement, and the effective administration of justice.
