Section 16-52-1-4 - "Health care personnel"(a) As used in this article, "health care personnel" means the following: (1) A nurse aide (as defined in IC 16-28-13-1).(2) A registered nurse or licensed practical nurse licensed under IC 25-23.(3) An advanced practice registered nurse licensed under IC 25-23.(4) A qualified medication aide certified under IC 16-28-1-11.(6) A physician assistant licensed under IC 25-27.5.(7) Except as provided in subsection (b), any other individual licensed or authorized by the state to provide health care or professional services to residents or patients of a health care facility.(b) The term does not include a physician licensed under IC 25-22.5.Added by P.L. 149-2023,SEC. 18, eff. 7/1/2023.
