Section 0460-01-.17 - CONSUMER RIGHT-TO-KNOW REQUIREMENTS(1) Malpractice Reporting Requirements - The threshold amount below which medical malpractice judgments, awards or settlements in which payments are awarded to complaining parties need not be reported pursuant to the "Health Care Consumer Right-To-Know Act of 1998" shall be twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000).(2) Criminal Conviction Reporting Requirements - For purposes of the "Health Care Consumer Right-To-Know Act of 1998", the following criminal convictions must be reported:(a) Conviction of any felony; and(b) Conviction or adjudication of guilt of any misdemeanor, regardless of its classification, in which any element of the misdemeanor involves any one or more of the following: 3. Physical injury or threat of injury to any person.4. Abuse or neglect of any minor, spouse or the elderly.(c) If any misdemeanor conviction reported under this rule is ordered expunged, a copy of the order of expungement signed by the judge must be submitted to the Department before the conviction will be expunged from any profile.Tenn.
