Section 75-02-01.2-60 - Computing payment if stepparent income is deemed1. The amount of a household's cash grant must be reduced by the deemed income of a stepparent who lives in the home, but who is not a member of the household.2. To encourage marriage among single-parent families and assist those families when the primary individual in a household marries, the income of the stepparent must be disregarded in determining the cash grant for the first six months, effective the month of the marriage. This subsection applies to recipients only, but not to applicants. No six-month disregard of stepparent income is allowed in situations when a primary individual marries before receiving benefits.N.D. Admin Code 75-02-01.2-60
