Home schools and home-schooling programs, including those that are affiliated with an approved accrediting agency, are specifically excluded and are not eligible to participate in the State Board of Education accreditation process. Alsoexcluded are daycare centersserving children below the ageof 6, preschool programs (except those serving children ages 3-5 with disabilities), and adult education programs specifically designed to serve an adult-age population.
