All DGICs must be electrically interconnected with their EU pursuant to the provisions of the MDGIR. All rules and regulations for interconnected DGFs within the MDGIR apply to DGICs. Any Distribution System Upgrades, including additional equipment needed that is associated with the export of electricity, shall be at the DGIC's expense, per the MDGIR.
