Section I-9635 - Staffing RequirementsA. A Level II CRC-SU shall meet all of the staffing requirements of the Level I CRC-SU in addition to the following requirements. 1. A Level II CRC-SU shall have an RN in charge of the unit at all times. This RN may be the same nurse in charge of the Level I CRC-SU, providing he/she is not assigned to provide patient care to patients in the Level II CRC-SU.2. The Level II CRC-SU shall have sufficient numbers and types of qualified staff on duty and available at all times to provide necessary care, services, treatment and safety, based on the acuity of the patients, the mix of the patients present in the CRC-SU, the need for extraordinary levels of care and to meet the needs of the patient throughout the length of any patient stay in the CRC-SU.La.
