Section 16.03.05.502 - SPECIAL NEEDS ALLOWANCESSpecial needs allowances are a restaurant meals allowance and a service animal food allowance.
01.Restaurant Meals Allowance. Is fifty dollars ($50) monthly. A physician must state the participant is physically unable to prepare food in their home. A participant able to prepare their food, but living in a place where cooking is not permitted, may be budgeted the restaurant meals allowance for up to three (3) months.02.Service Animal Food Allowance. Is seventeen dollars ($17) monthly. The allowance is budgeted for a blind or disabled participant using a trained service animal.Idaho Admin. Code r. 16.03.05.502
