Section 19-126-3 - Reference markers(a) There shall be developed by the highways division, a system of reference markers on all public highways. These markers shall be at intervals of two-tenths of a mile on federal-aid interstate highways, and not more than one mile on other public highways.(b) In urban areas, or where streets intersect at intervals which will allow the use of the intersections of streets themselves for reference, no reference markers need be installed.(c) The highways division shall determine, subject to the approval of the United States Department of Transportation, the design of all reference markers.[Eff AUG 26 1982] (Auth: HRS § 286-8) (Imp: HRS § 286-8)
