Section 15-15-06 - Chairperson and vice-chairperson(a) The commissioners shall annually elect a chairperson and one or more vice-chairpersons from its members.(b) The chairperson shall have the responsibilities and duties prescribed in this chapter.(c) In the absence of the chairperson, the vice-chairperson or vice-chairpersons shall have the responsibilities and duties of the chairperson prescribed in this chapter. In case of resignation or incapacity of the chairperson, a vice-chairperson shall perform such duties as are imposed on the chairperson until such time as the commission shall elect a new chairperson.
