Section 20-332-12a - Examinations(a) Examinations shall be held at least four times a year for each board. Each applicant will be notified by mail as to the time and place where the examination is to be held. No one may be admitted to any examination without presenting a notice of examination card which will be evidence that the board has reviewed and accepted the individual's application.(b) All examinations will be in English. The examination shall be of such written, oral and practical units as the board may determine are necessary to determine the applicant's competency in the trade area for which he has applied for a license. Examinations may be changed at the board's discretion.(c) Any applicant who refers to notes or books except by permission of proctor, misbehaves during the examination or fails to comply with the proctor's instructions covering the examination, will be dismissed from that examination.(d) Any applicant who has failed to attain minimum requirements for the issuance of a license shall be notified by mail. If the testing service allows for a direct response, the applicant may respond directly to the testing service and not to the department.(f) Any applicant failing to meet minimum requirements for the issuance of a license shall forfeit his examination fee and shall be rescheduled for the next examination only when the department is in receipt of another registration form and examination fee.Conn.
