Section 1.540 - Procedures for Vacating a Dismissal(1) The hearing officer shall notify the appellant of the dismissal and of the procedures for vacating a dismissal.(2) The appellant must request vacation of the dismissal in writing within ten days of the date of the dismissal notice.(3) The hearing officer may vacate the dismissal upon finding that the appellant has shown good cause for failure to appear at a scheduled hearing or otherwise prosecute the appeal.Amended by Mass Register Issue 1328, eff. 12/16/2016.
