Section 140.402 - Dental Services Staff(A) Each clinic shall be staffed with one or more dentists as necessary to provide or supervise the provision of dental services.(B) Dental hygienists employed by the clinic shall be registered by the Board under M.G.L. c. 112, § 51.(C) Dental assistants employed shall be licensed pursuant to M.G.L. c. 112, § 511/2 and shall meet the requirements of 234 CMR 4.11: Initial Dental Assistant Licensure for EFDA-, CA- and FTDA-qualified Individuals and 234 CMR 4.12: Initial Licensure for Dental Assistants Trained on the Job.Amended by Mass Register Issue 1443, eff. 5/14/2021.
