Section R20-5-509 - Safety Requirements for Personnel Hoists and Employee Elevators for Construction and Demolition OperationsA. Every owner or operator of a personnel hoist or employee elevator for construction and demolition operation installed, repaired, or altered on or after January 1, 2023, shall comply with ANSI A10.4-2016 (Safety Requirements for Personnel Hoists and Employee Elevators for Construction and Demolition Sites), which is incorporated by reference. For purposes of a repair or alteration, compliance with the specified standard shall apply, to the extent possible, to the scope of the repair or alteration. This incorporation by reference does not include any later amendments or editions of the incorporated matter.B.
