Section 1001.056 - District Administrator(a) The board shall:(1) appoint a person qualified by training and experience as district administrator; and(2) determine the administrator's compensation.(b) The board may remove the district administrator at any time.(c) Before assuming the duties of district administrator, the administrator must execute a bond payable to the district in an amount of not less than $10,000 that:(1) is conditioned on the administrator performing well and faithfully the administrator's required duties; and(2) contains other conditions the board may require.Tex.
