No money may be expended for meals or refreshments for petit jurors or bailiffs except in either of the three following instances:
1. During a trial for the entire duration of which the jury is sequestered by written order of the judge.2. In cases when the jury is sequestered during the trial for the remainder of the trial.3. After the case has been submitted to the jury and the jury has been ordered by the judge not to separate. No money may be expended for meals or refreshments for the grand jurors and their bailiffs.
