A military court may punish for contempt any person who uses any menacing word or disrespectful signs or gestures in its presence, or who disturbs its proceedings by any riot or disorder. The penalty shall not exceed thirty (30) days in jail or a fine of one hundred dollars ($100) or both penalties.
