Each member of the board shall be paid an annual salary of not less than ten thousand dollars ($10,000). The salaries of the board members shall be fixed in the manner prescribed by IC 36-2-5 or IC 36-3-6 and paid out of the county general fund in accordance with IC 3-5-3-1 as other election expenses are paid.
