Section 89.55 - Collection channels(a) A channel or ditch that is used to collect or transport waters, or both, into wastewater treatment facilities shall be constructed to safely pass the peak runoff from a precipitation event with a 10-year recurrence interval, or a larger event as specified by the Department.(b) Channel design shall incorporate: (1) Channel linings to safely pass the design velocities.(3) Energy dissipators when necessary.
