Section 420-3-20-.17 - Food Processing Establishments Outside The Jurisdiction Of The Health Officer

General. Food from food processing establishments outside the jurisdiction of the Health Officer of the State of Alabama may be sold within the State of Alabama if such establishments conform to the provisions of these rules or to substantially equivalent provisions. To determine the extent of compliance with such provisions, the State Health Officer may accept reports from responsible authorities in other jurisdictions where such food processing establishments are located.
