Section 99-3-105 - Assignment of statute numbers(a) To facilitate the drafting and amendment of water project legislation, the legislative service office may assign statute numbers and headings to previously enacted session laws, provided: (i) The statute numbers and headings are for reference and identification only and do not constitute any part of the substantive law and shall not alter the meaning of the previously enacted session laws; (ii) In amending or repealing any session law assigned a number under this section, it is sufficient to identify the law by designating the assigned number without reference to the original chapter and section of the session law enactment, or amendment thereof; (iii) A disposition table identifying the session laws renumbered under this section shall be maintained on file in the legislative service office; (iv) Session laws numbered under this section need not be codified as part of the regularly published Wyoming statutes.
