Section 53B-3-104 - Establishment of police or security departments(1) As used in this section, "institution" means an institution listed in Section 53B-1-102.(2) An institution's president may establish and maintain police or security departments for the purpose of enforcing the regulations of each institution of higher education and the laws of the state.Amended by Chapter 378, 2024 General Session ,§ 19, eff. 5/1/2024.Enacted by Chapter 167, 1987 General Session
