Section 4-41a-903 - Unlawful acts(1) It is unlawful for a person who is not operating under the license of a medical cannabis research licensee to obtain or possess cannabis for academic medical cannabis research.(2) It is unlawful for a cannabis production establishment to offer, sell, or otherwise provide cannabis or cannabis products for the purpose of academic research to an entity that is not a medical cannabis research licensee.(3) The department may seize from a medical cannabis research licensee and destroy cannabis or cannabis products that do not comply with this chapter.Added by Chapter 5, 2019SP1 General Session ,§ 15, eff. 9/23/2019.
