Section 11-17-20 - Power of the Utah Charter School Finance Authority(1) The Utah Charter School Finance Authority may exercise the powers granted to municipalities and counties by this chapter, subject to the same limitations as that imposed on a municipality or county under the chapter, except as provided by Title 53G, Chapter 5, Part 6, Charter School Credit Enhancement Program.(2) As used in this chapter, "governing body" when applied to the Utah Charter School Finance Authority means the authority's governing board as described in Section 53G-5-602.(3) Notwithstanding Section 11-17-15, a charter school that receives financing under this chapter is subject to Title 63G, Chapter 6a, Utah Procurement Code.Amended by Chapter 415, 2018 General Session ,§ 7, eff. 3/22/2018.Amended by Chapter 347, 2012 General Session ,§ 9, eff. 5/1/2013.Amended by Chapter 201, 2012 General Session ,§ 1, eff. 7/1/2012.Amended by Chapter 382, 2008 General Session
