Section 56.115 - Duties of the Engineer(a) The engineer shall make a map of the district showing:(1) the boundary lines of the district;(2) the original surveys within the boundaries of the district; and(3) the number of acres in an original survey which are included in the district if the boundary lines of the district cross the original survey.(b) The engineer shall make maps and profiles of the canals, drains, ditches, and levees located in the district and their outlets extending beyond the boundaries of the district.(c) A copy of the land office map of the county which shows the name and number of each survey and the area or number of acres within the district is sufficient to comply with the requirement for a map of the district, and any recognized map of a city or town in the district is sufficient to comply with the requirement for a map of that city or town.
