The accounts and books of the Gulf States Marine Fisheries Commission, including receipts, disbursements, and other items relating to its financial standing are subject to audit by the state auditor in accordance with Chapter 321, Government Code. The auditor shall report the results of the examination to the governor of each state that is a party to the compact.
