Section 2001.353 - Discipline of License and Registration Holders(a) After a hearing, the commission may suspend, revoke, or refuse to renew a license or registration issued under this chapter for: (1) failure to comply with this chapter or a commission rule; or(2) a reason that would allow or require the commission to refuse to issue or renew a license or registration of the same class.(b) The commission may place on probation a person whose license or registration is suspended. If a license or registration suspension is probated, the commission may require the person: (1) to report regularly to the commission on the matters that are the basis of the probation;(2) to limit the person's activities under the license or registration in the manner prescribed by the commission; or(3) to take any other reasonable action prescribed by the commission to address the matters that are the basis of the probation.(c) If the person fails to comply with the conditions of probation, the commission may suspend or revoke the person's license or registration.(d) The commission by rule shall: (1) adopt written guidelines to ensure that probation is administered consistently; and(2) develop a system to track compliance with probation requirements.Tex.
