Section 2026.102 - Class 1 Racetrack(a) A class 1 racetrack is a racetrack on which live racing is conducted for a number of days in a calendar year, as determined by the commission under Subchapter A, Chapter 2029.(b) A class 1 racetrack may operate only in a county with a population of not less than 1.3 million, or in a county adjacent to such a county.(c) Not more than three class 1 racetracks may be licensed and operated in this state.Tex.
