Section 101.002 - Right to Influence Another Regarding Employment(a) A person by peaceful and lawful means may induce or attempt to induce another to: (1) enter or refuse to enter a particular employment; or(2) quit a particular employment in which the other person is then engaged.(b) A member of a trade union or other organization may not enter the premises of another without the consent of the owner of the premises.(c) This section does not apply to an association formed, an act taken, or an agreement made:(1) to limit the production, transportation, use, or consumption of labor's products; or(2) that creates a trust or conspiracy in restraint of trade under the laws of this state.(d) Subsection (c) does not interfere with the terms of a private contract between an employer and an employee with regard to the time of service or other stipulations.(e) Subsection (c) may not be construed as repealing or affecting a statute on trusts, conspiracies against trade, pools, or monopolies.
