Section 846.205 - Certain Limitations or Exclusions of Coverage Prohibited(a) A multiple employer welfare arrangement's plan document may not limit or exclude, by use of a rider or amendment applicable to a specific individual, coverage by type of illness, treatment, medical condition, or accident.(b) This section does not preclude a multiple employer welfare arrangement from limiting or excluding coverage for a preexisting condition in accordance with Section 846.202.Added by Acts 2001, 77th Leg., ch. 1419, Sec. 1, eff. 6/1/2003.
