Section 4055.101 - General Definitions In this subchapter:
(1) "Credit insurance" includes: (A) credit life insurance;(B) credit accident and health insurance;(C) credit property insurance;(D) credit involuntary unemployment insurance; and(E) insurance that covers the difference between the actual cash value of a motor vehicle used as security for a loan or lease and the outstanding balance of that loan or lease if loss or damage renders the vehicle an actual or constructive total loss while the debt for which the vehicle serves as security exceeds the actual cash value of the vehicle.(2) "Credit insurance agent" means a person licensed under this chapter to sell credit insurance as specifically provided by this subchapter.Tex.
