Section 152.1221 - Hunt County(a) The Hunt County Juvenile Board is composed of the county judge, the district judges in Hunt County, and the judges of the county courts at law.(b) The board shall designate a juvenile court judge as the chairman of the board and its chief administrative officer.(c) The commissioners court may pay the members of the juvenile board additional annual compensation set by the commissioners court at not more than $3,600 for the added duties imposed on the members. The commissioners court may pay the juvenile court clerk additional annual compensation set by the commissioners court at not more than $800. The additional compensation shall be paid in equal monthly installments from the general fund or any other available fund of the county. The compensation is in addition to all other compensation provided or allowed by law for the clerk of the juvenile court.(d) Each judge on the board may appoint one citizen to serve on the advisory council. Members of the advisory council serve without compensation.(e) A member of the advisory council is not liable in civil damages or for criminal prosecution for an action taken by the juvenile board.(f) Sections 152.0002, 152.0004, 152.0005, 152.0006, 152.0007, and 152.0008 do not apply to the juvenile board of Hunt County.Tex.
