Tex. Health & Safety Code § 252.125

Section 252.125 - Immediate Removal To Protect Resident

Before the completion of the investigation by the commission , the commission shall file a petition for temporary care and protection of a resident if the commission determines that immediate removal is necessary to protect the resident from further abuse, neglect, or exploitation.
