Section 42.003 - Kidney Health Care Program(a) The kidney health care program is in the department to carry out this chapter.(b) The department may develop and expand programs for the care and treatment of persons with end stage renal disease, including dialysis and other lifesaving medical procedures and techniques.(c) The executive commissioner may adopt rules necessary to carry out this chapter and to provide adequate kidney care and treatment for citizens of this state.Tex.
