Section 81.091 - Committee on Professional Ethics(a) The professional ethics committee consists of nine members of the state bar appointed by the supreme court.(b) Members serve three-year terms with the terms of three members expiring each year.(c) The supreme court shall designate a chairperson of the committee who serves for one year.(d) This chapter does not prohibit the supreme court from appointing members of the judicial department to the committee.Tex.
