Section 231.005 - Biennial Report Required(a) The Title IV-D agency shall report to the legislature each biennium on: (1) the effectiveness of the agency's child support enforcement activity in reducing the state's public assistance obligations; and(2) the use and effectiveness of all enforcement tools authorized by state or federal law or otherwise available to the agency.(b) The agency shall develop a method for estimating the costs and benefits of the child support enforcement program and the effect of the program on appropriations for public assistance.Amended By Acts 2011, 82nd Leg., R.S., Ch. 990, Sec. 2, eff. 6/17/2011.Amended by Acts 1999, 76th Leg., ch. 556, Sec. 51, eff. 9/1/1999.Added by Acts 1995, 74th Leg., ch. 20, Sec. 1, eff. 4/20/1995.
