Section 30.101 - Purpose

The purpose of this subchapter is to provide the state available school fund apportionment to children committed to the Texas Juvenile Justice Department. To provide the state available school fund apportionment for educational purposes, the educational programs provided to those children are considered to be educational services provided by public schools.
