Section 7.112 - Representation of Publisher of Instructional Materials By Former Member of Board(a) A former member of the State Board of Education who is employed by or otherwise receives compensation from a publisher of instructional materials may not, before the second anniversary of the date on which the person last served as a member of the State Board of Education:(1) confer with a member of the board of trustees of a school district concerning instructional materials published by that publisher; or(2) appear at a meeting of the board of trustees on behalf of the publisher.(b) A person who violates Subsection (a) commits an offense.
