Section 36-29-3 - Qualifications for licenseThe board shall issue a license to practice athletic training to an individual who:
(1) Submits an application prescribed by the board;(2) Submits an application fee in an amount established by the board; and(3) Presents evidence satisfactory to the board that: (a) The individual has completed all qualifications established by the Board of Certification for the Athletic Trainer and has passed a nationally accredited exam approved by the State Board of Medical and Osteopathic Examiners; or(b) The individual is certified in good standing by the Board of Certification for the Athletic Trainer.SL 1984, ch 255, § 3; SL 2005, ch 204, §1; SL 2024, ch 162, §4.Amended by S.L. 2024, ch. 162,s. 4, eff. 7/1/2024.
