Section 471 - Construction design professional not liable(a) A construction design professional who is retained to perform professional services on a construction project or any employe of a construction design professional who is assisting or representing the construction design professional in the performance of professional services on the site of the construction project shall not be liable under this act for any injury or death of a worker not an employe of such design professional on the construction project for which workers' compensation is payable under the provisions of this act.(b) Notwithstanding any provisions to the contrary, this section shall apply to claims for compensation based on injuries or death which occurred after the effective date of this section.1915, June 2, P.L. 736, No. 338, § 323, added 1993, July 2, P.L. 190, No. 44, § 13, effective in 60 days.
