Section 1039 - Included reference; Department of Public Instruction(a) Whenever in any law reference is made to the Department of Public Instruction such reference shall be deemed to refer to and include the Department of Education.(b) Whenever in any law reference is made to the Superintendent of Public Instruction or to the Secretary of Education, such reference shall be deemed to refer to the Superintendent of Public Instruction as ex officio Secretary of Education.1969, July 23, P.L. 181, No. 74, § 3.
