Section 2334 - Transition provisions(a) New license and location.--Notwithstanding the provisions of section 303(a), the department shall have six months to grant or deny an application for a new license or new location. This subsection shall expire on January 1, 1999.(b) Current operation.--An application for a license by a check casher operating on the effective date of this act shall be filed within one year from the effective date of this act. 1998, Feb. 18, P.L. 146, No. 22, § 1104.
