Section 58012 - Maintenance and tax levy(a) All expenses incurred in the maintenance and operation of parks, recreation areas and facilities established under this article shall be payable from the treasury of the township or from the treasury of the applicable political subdivisions pursuant to an intergovernmental cooperation agreement.(b) The board of commissioners may annually appropriate and raise by general or special taxation an amount necessary for the purpose of maintaining and operating the parks, recreation areas and facilities and programs.1931, June 24, P.L. 1206, art.
