Section 23592 - Miscellaneous provisions(a) The right to a benefit, and the moneys in the fund herein mentioned shall not be subject to attachment or execution, and shall be payable only to the pensioner, his spouse or his designated beneficiary and shall not be subject to assignment or transfer.(b) When a pensioner shall or may hereafter be employed by the Government of the United States or the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, or the same county in which the city is located, or by any subdivision of such counties, the board shall not have the authority to suspend pension payments to such pensioner during the period of such employment. 1975, Aug. 1, P.L. 169, No. 87, § 12, effective Jan. 1, 1975.
