Section 17093 - Prohibition in parts of city

The mayor, aldermen and citizens of Philadelphia, in common council assembled, shall have power, by their ordinance for that purpose, to prohibit any future interments within such parts of the city of Philadelphia wherein they shall judge such prohibition necessary, and to impose such fines for any breach of such ordinance, as they may deem necessary.
