Section 16806 - Certain other companies permitted to salt tracks

All and singular the provisions of an act entitled "An act to repeal an act entitled 'An act to protect the health of the citizens of the city of Philadelphia,' approved April 17, 1869, so far as relates to the Frankford and Southwark passenger railroad north of Berks street depot, and the Second and Third streets passenger railroad north of Work street," approved October 3, 1870, be and the same are hereby extended to the West Philadelphia passenger railway company, the Philadelphia city passenger railway company, and the Hestonville, Mantua and Fairmount passenger railway company, and the said companies are hereby fully authorized and empowered to use and employ salt in cleaning their tracks from ice and snow at all points west of Schuylkill river and east thereof as respects to the two first named companies from Twenty-third street west to the Market and Chestnut street bridges respectively.
