Section 690-119 - Availability of mine maps(a) Authorization.--The department is authorized and directed to obtain and copy all maps of mining conducted in this Commonwealth.(b) Inspection and copying.--An individual who has possession of a mine map shall make the map available to the department for inspection and copying. The map shall be returned to its owner within 30 days.(c) Liability.--No individual shall, solely on the basis of supplying a mine map to the department, be attributed or divested of liability.2008, July 7, P.L. 654, No. 55, §119, effective in 180 days [ 1/5/2009].
