Section 5-516 - Compromise penalty in lieu of suspension

In those cases where the administrative law judge shall suspend a license, the administrative law judge may accept from the licensee an offer in compromise as a penalty in lieu of such suspension and shall thereupon rescind its order of suspension. In the case of a distillery licensee, the offer in compromise shall be at the rate of one hundred dollars ($100) for each day of suspension; in the case of a bonded warehouse, bailee for hire and transporter for hire licensees, twenty-five dollars ($25) for each day; and in the case of a winery licensee, fifty dollars ($50) for each day. No offer in compromise may be accepted in those cases where the suspension is for a period in excess of one hundred (100) days.
