Section 310.33 - Insurers to certify names of managers or exclusive general agents(a) General rule.--Every domestic insurer operating under a management contract or an exclusive general agency agreement shall certify to the department the name of the manager or exclusive general agent within ten days from the effective date of the contract or agreement and within ten days after the renewal of the license of the manager or exclusive general agent.(b) Penalty.--An insurer that fails to file the certification required by subsection (a) commits a misdemeanor of the third degree and, upon conviction, shall be sentenced to pay a fine not exceeding $1,000 for each day of noncompliance.1921, May 17, P.L. 789, art.
